Antepartum Care

Many women, for many reasons, such as a multiple pregnancy, preterm labor or other health concerns find themselves on "house arrest" before their given due date. This can be an extremely upsetting and stressful time for the pregnant woman and her household; she may be feeling useless or helpless or bored (or a combination of these) and her family may have no idea or the time to help.

This is where I can help.

As an antepartum doula, not only do I keep the pregnant partner company and her spirits up, simple household chores and errands get done, older siblings are looked after and disruption to everyday life is kept at a minimum.

My fee for antepartum work is $25 per hour with a four hour minimum per day.
